In schools

We've been providing high quality physical education and sport coaching to countless children in nurseries, primary schools, senior schools and Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools for over two decades. It's always been crucial, therefore, that we work with children – and teaching staff - to Ofsted standards.

In fact, all the PE curriculum delivery work we undertake in partnership with schools, coaching children at various Key Stages from 1 right through to 4, is closely aligned to Ofsted standards.

The same demanding Ofsted approved criteria apply to all the Active@8 Breakfast and Lunch Clubs, Club4All After School Clubs, holiday activities and classes we deliver in everything from football and dance to gymnastics.

This is one of the many reasons we are trusted to help schools in a wide range of other ways, too. Right from supporting the personal development of teachers in PE to assisting with lesson planning, pupil assessments and inset day cover.

Out of school

All our holiday childcare – via various courses and holiday camps - are Ofsted registered and all of our staff hold relevant qualifications.

You can relax, safe in the knowledge that your children are being cared for by an Ofsted registered childcare provider and appropriately qualified staff.

Don't forget that you can pay for out of school clubs (like breakfast and afterschool clubs), as well as active holidays, using childcare vouchers. Also note that these can be used to pay for the care of children up to the age of 15, or 16 if they are registered disabled. You can also use them to pay for the care of more than one child, as long as you have parental responsibility.

Making Working Tax Credits work harder for you

As long as the childcare you use is registered (and all Planet Education after school and holiday clubs are) and your children are aged 15 or under (16 or under if they have a disability), you may be able to receive the childcare element of Working Tax Credit to help with the cost of out of school activities.
