An update from our Group CEO re COVID-19

I sincerely hope this message finds you well, amid these clearly unprecedented times.

I wish to start by expressing my immense gratitude to our team, who are working effectively and efficiently in managing the escalating situation relating to the COVID-19 virus.

Working across the Education, Childcare, Sports and Leisure sectors as we do have brought our group of companies some unique and specific sets of challenges to overcome. Such situations call for strong management, effective communication and collective efforts and understanding throughout our organisation. I am extremely proud therefore of the way these challenges are being met

As one of the country’s main independent P.E provider to schools, we are extremely proud to be actively supporting the Government’s plans of keeping schools open during this pandemic. We believe it is our duty to help provide the essential support to our schools at this difficult time, so children of Key Workers and Vulnerable children can remain safe and receive PE tuition at school.

Whilst providing this essential support to schools we will, as always, prioritise the health and the well-being of our staff and our customers. We will continue to respond to and follow the guidance and the advice from both the Government and Public Health England.

As you will appreciate, these are clearly tough times, not just locally but globally, so as part of our collective responsibility, we are all working remotely and we have provided very clear and precise advice to all our staff throughout this most challenging of times.

Easter Holiday Camps:
Following the decision announced by HM Government on Friday 20th March ‘20 to close Leisure centres and schools, along with their strong advice to minimise contact and to stay at home, we have cancelled all our Easter Active Childcare camps and Elite Football and Elite Rugby camps

For customers who have booked any Easter camps, you will be automatically credited for your booking. Please note we will be contacting you all directly with regards to these cancellations and we thank you for your understanding. We will send out information on our Whitsun and Summer Camps in due course.

Please continue to contact us on our normal office telephone number, but as this has been diverted, please allow us some additional response time, given the current and unique circumstances.
Amid a time of so many unknowns, one thing I trust we will all see as a result of this crisis is that it will make people more considerate and our families and communities stronger. I also hope that, as individuals, we will all fully appreciate the simple and the beautiful things that life brings us.

Please stay safe, keep well and we look forward to providing our full range of services to you and your families again soon.

Best wishes,

Chris Vertannes
